Here is a part of the work I did between 2020 and 2021 on Assassin's Creed Valhalla : Wrath of the Druids, the first expansion of the game.
My main mission was to work on the main boss fight of the game, a fight against Ciara. I had the chance to create gameplay feedbacks and environment effects for this. This task involved particle effect creation but also material, light and postFX animation.

Note that the effects has been created with a shared texture and shader bank created in collaboration with other FX artists.

One of Ciara's attacks. She disappears and summons ghosts that the player has to quickly kill or the stone release a big shockwave.

Storm Effect around the bossfight, the storm intensity is increasing during the fight. Lightning Effect created with 2d sprite, light and postFX animation.

Effect for the Tara Stone, emissive material, dome and a force field effect for the arena's limit.
