Assassin's Creed Mirage - Gameplay FX - Eagle Vision

Very proud to share the work I did on Assassin's Creed Mirage between 2022 and 2023. In this post I'll cover the effect I did for the eagle vision feature of the player. It was mainly done with shader and post FX animation. I worked on the pulse effect and the looping post fx. The colored highlights has been worked by others artists.
Big thanks to Gregory Piche, Anaïs Riff and Félix Chamerois (our VFX team in Bordeaux), Salomé Strappazzon our Associate Art Director and all the Mirage Team across the world. Also big up to Ean Koh and Alvan Lim, the Singapour FX team who help a lot to develop the feature and fx prototype.

I used a combination of screen distortion, shaders using 3d/volume texure and post fx for the color treatment and wireframe effect.
