Assassin's Creed Mirage - Fountains FX

Very proud to share the work I did on Assassin's Creed Mirage between 2022 and 2023. In this post I'll cover the effects I did for the fountains and bassins in the game. It was a pretty big job as I created the effect from scrath : texture simulation in houdini, shader, mesh and material creation, particle system integration.

Big thanks to Gregory Piche, Anaïs Riff and Félix Chamerois (our VFX team in Bordeaux), Salomé Strappazzon our Associate Art Director and all the Mirage Team across the world.

VFX created : flowing water (custom mesh and shader), ripples, water splashes.
